Application 2009/2010 The
membership of the C.L.L.G. shall consist of any person in Alberta and all other
geographical locations who is employed in or is providing a service to any library
disseminating legal information. The membership may include any individual interested
in but not employed in or providing a service to any library disseminating legal
information. Honorary Lifetime
Members - active members who have significantly contributed to the Association
over a number of years who are nominated and voted as a Lifetime Member by the
membership. The current
annual dues fee is $40.00 per individual. The Executive may make exceptions to
these categories of membership. As
a member of CLLG you will: 1.
receive a password that allows access to the Members only section of the CLLG
website which contains the CLLG Directory of Members 2. receive instructions
on how to join the CLLG listserv 3. be eligible to serve on the CLLG executive
or nominate members for election to the executive 4. receive a annual Membership
Renewal notice Student Membership The Calgary Law
Libraries Group offers free memberships to MLIS and Library Technician students
while in school. If you are interested in living and working Calgary, consider
joining CLLG. Benefits of membership include: - Connecting with professionals
in many areas of librarianship including law firm, government, academic and corporate.

- Free professional development opportunities
on relevant topics of practice.
Most of all, CLLG is a relaxed and fun environment
to meet many different types of librarians, and potential employers. We are an
active organization of approximately 60 professionals who like to socialize and
